Who is Lydstrøm?
Hello and welcome to Lydstrøm Mastering!
My name is Lars Strøm and I have more than 10 years of experience mastering music professionally – involving many small and big projects covering a lot of different genres, like jazz, country, rock, metal etc.
My mastering studio is located in Aalborg (the north of Denmark) and offers great acoustics and highend-convertors and monitors – ready to give your music the crucial final touch.
Whether your music is recorded in a big professional recording studio or in your favorite bedroom, my goal is always to bring out the best in your music.
What is mastering?
In short, mastering is the final stage before it is released either on streaming platforms or physical mediums like CD, Vinyl or Cassettes tapes.
Most mixes have weaknesses, which is much easier to spot in a different room by experienced ears. Not everyone has an optimal mixing environment available but an experienced mastering engineer will make sure to work out those weaknesses for you.
I will make the final tweaks on the mix, preparing them for uploading to streaming platforms or physical pressings. These tweaks can range from very subtle to very audible, all depending on the mix. My goal is to make the mix sound great on many different speakers and environments.
I always trust Lars’ ears – it’s pure magic what he does!
